The West is “sacred ground” for many of the world’s most coveted sport fishing venues. COLUMBIA COUNTRY is a show devoted to bringing these locations and fishing opportunities to viewers throughout the West. COLUMBIA COUNTRY is broadcast on over 50 stations and cable systems weekly. Episodes feature Fly-fishing and gear-fishing for popular species like Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Cutthroat and Lake Trout - Steelhead - Chinook and Coho Salmon - Sturgeon - Halibut - Large and Smallmouth Bass - Walleye, and Northern Pike.

COLUMBIA COUNTRY launched in the fall of 2001. Today the show is carried on over 50 stations and cable systems throughout the Pacific and Rocky Mountain West. The show also has wide coverage throughout Western Canada and Alaska.

COLUMBIA COUNTRY is produced by Bob Asbury (Sun West Productions, Liberty Lake, Washington). Bob has been involved in outdoor sports programming since 1984. Field sequences are hosted by Carl Mann (Missoula, Montana). With over 30 years in the outfitting business, and a diverse repertoire of Western sport-fishing skills, Carl delivers valuable insights for all interests.
